Wednesday Worship~This Little Child

As we walk through this Christmas season in which many hearts are experiencing sorrow instead of joy, may we remember that the little Child born on Christmas Day is our source of hope for joy and peace in our tomorrows. Eternity beckons us. And we know that we can trust Its calling because of "This Little Child."

"Praise be to the Lord, the God of Israel, because He has come to His people and redeemed them. He has raised up a horn of salvation for us in the house of His servant David (as He said through His holy prophets of long ago)..." Luke 1:68-70 (NIV)

That's a powerful piece, Kristi! I love this line:
A nation that has fallen has fallen from within.

So true, and I'm afraid it'll only get worse. We can't ignore the evil that's in this world, and it makes me sad that people won't face that. No amount of legislation or controls will ever fix the human condition. The world needs JESUS!

Thanks for all the prayers and encouragement the last couple of weeks. I hope you all have a fabulous Christmas! Love you!!

Our choir sang that song on Sunday...so profound...and timely.

Yes, the only answer is Jesus! O come, O come, Emmanuel!

The prayers continue. I hope you all have some sweet family time.

I love you!!

I've always loved this song, and it does seem especially appropriate now. Jesus loves children, He loves the children of Sandy Hook, and His heart breaks for those families who are suffering.

Yes, the world needs Jesus!
