Monday Meditation~Come!

 Isaiah 55:1-2 (NIV)
Come, all you who are thirsty,
come to the waters;
and you who have no money,
come, buy and eat!
Come buy wine and milk
without money and without cost.
Why spend money on what is not bread,
And your labor on what does not satisfy?
Listen, listen to Me, and eat what is good,
and you will delight in the richest of fare.

Is there a hunger or thirst in your soul? Are you longing to be satisfied? You've been invited to the Source of all satisfaction. Will you come? Will you delight in the richest of fare?
The Lord, His unfailing love, and His Word are available to you. Just seek and listen. Just come.

Kristi,

Great words today. Interesting topic b/c I just had a conversation with our women's minister about God giving me the idea of naming our women's ministry, "Thirst" - with a tagline: . . . "Thirst for water that won't leave you thirsty." (Jn. 4:10) -- I also love this verse from Isaiah.
God bless you dear and as always, thank you for those probing questions that dig deeper. ;)

Much Love, Hester
