Monday Meditation~Will You Walk On Water?

Matthew 14:25-33 (NIV)

During the fourth watch of the night
Jesus went out to them, walking on the lake.
When the disciples saw Him walking
on the lake, they were terrified.
"It's a ghost," they said, and cried out in fear.
But Jesus immediately said to them;
"Take courage! It is I. Don't be afraid."
Lord, if it's You," Peter replied, "tell
me to come to You on the water."
"Come," He said.
Then Peter got down out of the boat,
walked on the water and came toward Jesus.
But when he saw the wind, he was afraid and,
beginning to sink, cried out, "Lord, save me!"
Immediately Jesus reached out His hand and caught him.
"You of little faith," He said, "why did you doubt?"

Has Jesus called out to you to "Come" in some matter? Will you "Take courage" and believe Him to reach out His hand of help to you? Will you trust Him to give you the strength, provision, and capability to walk in the way He called you? Let's be faith walkers and see where He takes us!

Praying great faith for you today!

Kristi, this passage ALWAYS reminds me to check where I place my trust...and my eyes. If I look at the problem, it seems too overwhelming. But if I look at the One who is over all, I can believe it will work out.

That's what I'm having to do today.

Thanks for the reminder...

Kristi,

I just read this passage this morning during my study time - what timeliness. When I read it I was reminded of how sometimes I am guilty of seeing the 'wind' which causes me to lose heart and fear.

I love how you said, "let's be faith walkers."

God bless you Kristi - love your new picture! :)

Love, Hester ;)

Love this, Kristi. And I'm getting a late start, but saw something Hester posted a couple of hours ago. She referred to Jesus as our Wave Walker.

How much fun is THAT?
You girls rock :)
