1 Chronicles 29:1-13 (NIV)
David praised the LORD in the presence of the whole assembly, saying,
Praise be to You, O LORD,
God of our father Israel,
from everlasting to everlasting.
Yours, O LORD is the greatness and
the power
and the glory and the majesty and
the splendor,
for everything in heaven and earth
is Yours,
Yours, O LORD, is the kingdom,
You are exalted as head over all.
Wealth and honor come from You;
You are the ruler of all things.
In Your hands are strength and power
to exalt and give strength to all.
Now, our God, we give You thanks,
and praise Your glorious name.
Psalm 20:6-8 (NIV)
Now I know that the LORD saves His anointed;
He answers him from His holy heaven
with the saving power of His right hand.
Some trust in chariots and some in horses,
but we trust in the Name of the LORD our God.
Are you in need of power today? God holds it in His hands. That power is available to all who call upon Him. He hears our prayers and answers them from on high. He longs to meet our need. He is the giver of ultimate victory! Trust in Him today. Let us praise Him for the power He provides.

Kristi,
Thank you for these verses. I'm now humming, "Some will trust is horses, some will trust in chariots . . . but we will trust, in the name of the Lord." (maybe you know this song too).
Anyhow, this is my theme again this week as I mentioned a few weeks ago regarding our financial situation -- Are we trusting in self to provide or in the Lord? (although that could mean us doing something).
Anyhow, good reminder and thank you dear,
Hester, ;)
Beautiful words of encouragement and praise. Thank you for sharing them!
