Psalm 147:1-11
(NIV)
Praise the LORD.
How good it is to sing praises to our God,
How pleasant and fitting to praise Him!
The Lord builds up Jerusalem;
He gathers the exiles of Israel.
He heals the brokenhearted
and binds up their wounds.
He determines the number of stars
and calls them each by name.
Great is our LORD and mighty in power;
His understanding has no limit.
The LORD sustains the humble
but casts the wicked to the ground.
Sing to the LORD with grateful praise;
make music to our God on the harp.
He covers the sky with clouds;
He supplies the earth with rain
and makes grass grow on the hills.
He provides food for the cattle
and the young ravens when they call.
His pleasure is not in the strength of the horse,
nor His delight in the legs of the warrior;
the LORD delights in those who fear Him,
who put their hope in His unfailing love.
Let's praise the One whose love is unfailing, who never gives up, who can move mountains, who is all powerful, who heals, who sustains, who delivers, who provides, and who saves. How fitting to praise Him!
Praying sweet blessings on your day!

Gorgeous, Kristi. Soothing words to aching hearts.
Love you :)
Beautiful photo, Kristi, and beautiful words from THE Word! Thank you!
Kristi,
For many years, the portion of this verse, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds," held me up when I was crumbling. I clung to this verse like a life line.
Even still when I read it I can readily say, "He does heal the brokenhearted!"
Thank you for blessing us with this today.
Love, Hester ;)
Susan, Vonda, and Hester, you are so precious to me. I am praying for each of you.
Rejoicing with you, Hester...and clinging to the promise that He does indeed heal the brokenhearted.
Love you girls!
